1st XV – Competitive Senior Rugby
The flagship 1st XV team competes at a high level in National League 2 North, showcasing competitive rugby and strong performances every season. Playing open, spirited rugby, the first team represents the pinnacle of club rugby in Billingham while bringing supporters together on matchdays.
Billingham Lions
The Lions provide a vital bridge between senior and community rugby, offering players the chance to develop their skills, compete and transition into higher RFU levels. The Lions are a key part of the senior section and compete regularly in local league competition.
3TM & Vets Teams
Beyond the first teams, Billingham also fields the 3TM side and a Vets team — giving long-standing players and club regulars regular competitive opportunities and a chance to stay involved on the pitch while enjoying the camaraderie of club rugby.
Colts (Under 18)
The Colts side bridges the gap between junior and senior rugby, preparing players for adult competition. Competing at Under 18 level, the team focuses on skill development, physical progression and match experience, providing a clear pathway into the Lions and senior squads.
Junior & Mini Rugby
The junior and mini sections form the heart of the club’s future. Ranging from Under 7s through to Under 16s, these teams provide structured training, match play and a supportive environment for young players. The club has a strong reputation for coaching development and competitive age-grade rugby across Teesside.
Girls Teams
Billingham Rugby Club is proud to support the growth of girls’ rugby across multiple age groups, providing a welcoming and competitive environment for young players. With a strong pathway in place and a women’s team currently in development, the club is committed to expanding opportunities for female rugby across Billingham and Teesside.
